Thai numbers
Type a number. Get it in Thai words, in Thai numerals, and spoken where we have the recording.
The two rules everyone gets wrong
เอ็ด, not หนึ่ง. A one at the very end of a larger number is เอ็ด. Eleven is สิบเอ็ด, twenty-one is ยี่สิบเอ็ด, a hundred and one is หนึ่งร้อยเอ็ด. On its own, one is still หนึ่ง.
ยี่สิบ, not สองสิบ. Twenty has its own word. Thirty onwards is regular: สามสิบ, สี่สิบ, and so on.
Above that, Thai groups by ten thousand and a hundred thousand as well as by thousand and million: พัน (1,000), หมื่น (10,000), แสน (100,000), ล้าน (1,000,000).
Counting things needs a classifier as well as a number.
