Krut is formal and grand, and takes your progress extremely seriously. Praise from him feels earned because he does not hand it out lightly.
Nak
Nak is ancient, unhurried and kind. He has watched a great many people learn this language and has never once been surprised by a mistake.
How you get them
Three are yours from the start. The rest unlock with gems you earn from lessons, quests and streaks. None of them cost real money, and none of them change how the lessons work. A companion is company, not a power-up.
